This was one of my Minor Project for this year, and looked into the superstitions and folklore of the Northeast of Scotland.
I explored the concept of the 'Satanic Panic' and witches in Scotland - their ties to Satan and the dangers at sea. Rabbits were noted, particularly for their ability to enrage the sea and bring Satan aboard the vessel. I also created some linocuts for this project as I thought the art style would be fitting for the project.
